My passions for money and business go all the way back to my middle school days! As a child, I remember selling candy bars and CDs to make a profit. Let’s just say, I’ve always been about my coins!
That entrepreneurial spirit was the driving force behind my education and career. But although I had the long-time desire to work with money, I struggled with figuring out if the CPA license aligned with my purpose. Having to balance working a full time job and studying for the exam was tough. I missed a lot of happy hours with friends and holidays with family.
I possessed a unique set of skills, financial prowess necessary to help my community thrive. That understanding allowed me to tap into something greater, inspiring me to pass the exams and pass along my expertise to those who need it most.
Through the Blk Report, I am able to manage the financial weight many Black female entrepreneurs are not equipped nor expected to carry. Instead, I want them to feel empowered, confidently grow in their business while fully leveraging mine. Let’s work together to achieve your greatest success.
Because our community is greatly underserved when it comes to ownership and managing our finances. Many of us lack resources, capital, know-how or even the infrastructure needed to scale and grow.
And I am no stranger to the Black dollar! I have Chocolate City roots and a mother who always made a conscious effort to support Black entrepreneurs when I was growing up. Through witnessing the pride, generational wealth and positive impact stemming from Black businesses, I feel compelled to partner with others ready to experience the same.
